What to Expect:
What will church be like?
The service experience at ACF includes student-led worship followed by a message by Pastor Andy Hendry. You will find a friendly environment where everyone is welcome, no matter your background or knowledge of what church is.
Do I need to bring anything?
Nope, come as you are and enjoy free coffee, tea, and breakfast items before the service begins! If you have a Bible, you are welcome to bring it or use your phone to read along. If you don’t own a Bible, no worries — we have free Bibles available, and we also project key verses onto the main screen during the service.
What should I wear?
We have no dress code. We’ve got everything from jeans and T-shirts to full suits and everything in between. Wear what’s most comfortable for you!
What is Midweek?
Midweek is a time when the ACF community gathers to build stronger relationships, worship together, and learn about God’s love for us. Midweeks rotate between teaching nights (a short message by a student leader followed by group discussion), worship and prayer nights, and family dinners (an evening of free food and hanging out). Follow us on Instagram for regular Midweek updates!
What are Prayer Gatherings?
This is our weekly prayer meeting, where we gather together for one purpose — prayer. We believe God hears us and desires for us to come to Him. You don’t have to feel any pressure to pray. You can simply come and participate at your comfort level.
What are your beliefs?
Our vision is to build God's Kingdom here, on the campus of Penn State and beyond, through a growing relationship with Christ. For more information on our beliefs and core values, click here.
How can I give to ACF?
If you consider ACF to be your home church, we believe that you should give as your heart leads, not reluctantly or under obligation, but cheerfully and graciously (2 Corinthians 9:6-15). For more information about giving, click here.
